High School

Tiffany Wilmoth is the high school coordinator and teaches math and science in the middle and high schools. Dr. Wilmoth has a background in science and has been with MSA since 2021. She believes each day is a new opportunity to inspire critical thinking, spark curiosity, and ignite a passion for discovery. She enjoys teaching concepts in a relevant and hands-on manner as to empower the next generation of innovators and problem-solvers.

Mr Ramey first came to MSA in 2014. Over the years he has served as middle school director, senior project advisor, and professional development coordinator. He continues as a teacher of English and Social Studies for the middle school and high school. 

Mrs. Culwell earned her Bachelor of Arts in Art History, and an M.A.T. with Concentration in Visual Arts, both from the University of South Carolina. She has extensive training in a wide variety of visual media. She teaches Art I, II, III, and IV in our High School.

Matt Dabney holds both a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from Clemson University, where he served as a graduate assistant managing the department’s computing systems. At the Montessori School of Anderson since Fall 2018, he has served as Technology Coordinator—keeping our campus seamlessly connected and supported—while teaching technology to Upper Elementary, Middle School, and High School students. Known for his good humor and highly popular summer programming and technology camps at MSA, Mr. Dabney also guides the student yearbook staff and delights in introducing STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) concepts to some of our youngest learners, Primary risers (K5).  In addition, he supports the secondary curriculum by teaching upper-level mathematics, including pre-calculus and calculus, when needed. 

Karen Holt has been here since 1973.  She now volunteers gratefully still appreciating the opportunity to work with children especially in our Montessori environment!

Amber Lockhart serves as the Director of College Guidance, Registrar, and the Personal Finance (Fall) Teacher. She has been at MSA since 2018 and has two sons who attended the Toddler and Primary programs before Amber and her family relocated across the state. She attended Clemson University and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. Amber greatly enjoys working in such varied roles because it allows her to interact with students and parents at all levels, giving a beautiful look into the Montessori classrooms across campus.

Mrs. Patch has an undergraduate degree in Horticultural Therapy from Kansas State University. She has been at MSA since 2010, teaching Physical Education and Horticulture across campus. In addition, she serves as the Athletic Director and Middle School Coordinator. 

Joshua Raffini started volunteering at MSA in 2016 as attorney coach for the school's Mock Trial team. He began teaching Government/Economy in 2019 and has been on the Board of Trustees since 2021. Josh enjoys telling stories to illustrate points, whether as a teacher or as a coach, and he loves to spend his spare time with his family or reading to collect more inspiration for teaching lessons.

Sra. Wickiser is from Costa Rica. She has lived in the USA since 2005 and became a citizen in 2017. She is the mother of 3 children and the grandmother of four beautiful grandchildren. She has been a Spanish teacher since 2011. With over 13 years of experience teaching high school programs and over 4 years teaching lower levels, her expertise prepares students who want to compete for the NSE (National Spanish Examination) and Seal of Biliteracy, a very prestigious seal stamped on the High School Diploma. She is known for encouraging and motivating students to speak the target languages and her dedication to continuous learning. Sra. Wickiser trains every year with the South Carolina Department of Education: World Languages department, and she is currently training with the Cervantes University of Spain to get her International Teaching Certification. She is also a member of the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese (AATSP). In addition to her professional work, she is passionate about outdoor activities, holistic health and nutrition approaches, sewing, and knitting.
